I am passionate about SEO education and helping small businesses thrive through SEO and digital marketing channels. I have over seventeen years of professional experience in being an SEO coach. In 2019 I started 1ON1 SEO Training to help business owners master the SEO process, which involves many small steps that make a big difference in results.
As your SEO coach/SEO tutor, I will closely look at your website and business model and work with you through the different SEO steps to make your site visible and competitive.
We’re not going to focus on theory – the lessons will be practical, so you hit the ground running. Results of all your SEO efforts are measurable with the right tools, too.
SEO is such a large field that I understand that it can be overwhelming at times. I created 1ON1 SEO Training because I have a great passion for SEO and helping businesses utilize this excellent digital marketing channel for long-term growth. Both PPC and SEO have their functions in the grand scheme of things. If you’ve tried PPC and other ad networks before, you probably already know that the sales and leads stop once the ad campaigns stop. This is simply the nature of advertising. Business owners need a big pocket to sustain PPC campaigns or ad campaigns, month after month. Some months are good, while others are not.
SEO is something that you do so your business stays visible and relevant for years to come, not just at the moment where you post a blog or earn a backlink. Learning how to do SEO yourself means you won’t have to deal with the traditional problems of outsourcing SEO requirements to an SEO agency or SEO firm. In my many years of working in the industry, I have identified two main issues with outsourcing SEO needs: financial considerations and time commitment. Financial considerations involve the business’ marketing budget.
SEO is time-intensive and involves a lot of steps. If you have to outsource all of those steps, you’re going to have a hefty bill. The second factor is the time commitment. SEO firms typically ask their clients to sign contracts at least six months long. The fixed time commitment in every outsourcing contract tends to turn businesses on. It can sound risky, especially if it’s the business’ first time engaging in a strenuous SEO effort. SEO does not produce instant results, but once it’s done right, the costs of maintaining your position in your market online are much lower than what you will need to spend on PPC to remain constantly visible to your customers or clients.
At 1ON1 SEO Training, I have resolved these two issues by providing a month-to-month service. As a result, there is no fixed, time-bound contract, and it becomes easier for the client and me overall.
I mentioned earlier that SEO requires plenty of small steps that contribute to the whole. When you start doing SEO for your site, you will realize that you need a notepad to track different lines of tasks for both on-page and off-page optimization. I highly suggest that you familiarize yourself with Google Docs (especially Google Sheets) because once you deep dive into SEO, you will have to keep track of many things.
Conventionally, small SEO tasks are outsourced to SEO professionals who like doing them or specialize in these activities. Unfortunately, outsourcing these tasks costs more money – so I thought, why don’t I teach business owners how to do some of these tasks so that they can be more capable and they’ll be able to reduce the overall costs?
Whether you run a law firm, an accounting firm, or an eCommerce site, it’s always about connecting with more people through SEO.
As an SEO professional, I’m still engaged in the foundations of what makes a website great. I work on all my site pages and my blog, making these pages more functional and pleasing to readers and potential clients.
In the case of a website that teaches SEO, I make sure that I provide enough information for people to make the right choice while working extensively on the page structure and other technical items on my checklist.
For off-site SEO, I focus on backlinks and the backlink profile of my websites to maintain a good position, so potential clients who want to learn SEO can easily find me.
Every small business deserves the spotlight. Every professional, too. SEO works as a sustainable digital marketing channel, whether your specialty is a web design, architecture, or even veterinary practice.
